This week's wastewater testing reveals six detections of H5N1 (avian) flu in OR, of eleven detections nationwide. H5N1 was found in Wasco, Columbia, Marion, Lincoln (Newport), Douglas and Lane (Florence) counties.

Per the CDC:

For the week ending 25 April 2026, wastewater testing of H5N1 (avian) flu revealed 11 detections nationwide
