A Washington State Bobcat Has Tested Positive For Avian Influenza

News out of Washington state that an eastern Washington Bobcat tested positive for avian influenza. This marks yet another animal that the virus has spread to, outside of birds. While this is the first time a bobcat has tested positive for the Virus, there have been cases of raccoons testing positive for Avian Influenza in Washington state. I will post more info on this if and when I find it.
