COMMENT:
 If they are 'survival specialists' they sure did fail..

...because they should have worn masks to prevent airborne Illness and and airborne diseases amongst themselves! They are failing to protect themselves with n95 masks!

The City of Salyersville has announced the cancellation of the regular City Council meeting scheduled for Monday, January 19, 2026..

... CANCELLED, due to an anticipated lack of quorum. The next meeting is ... This is due to illness amongst multiple council members.

Nevada City Council meeting Cancelled

caught many members of the public off guard following a last minute cancellation due to a lack of quorum,
cancelled January 8 2026

"Peterson said that posts on social media were made to notify the public. He also confirmed that no member of the council suffered an emergency accident, or serious illness that the community should be concerned about.

People get sick or just can’t make it, according to Peterson"

Our Planning Meeting has been cancelled for today -  06.01.2026. Business cannot be discussed as the meeting will not be quorate.

an 6, 2026 · Due to the upcoming holiday and some illnesses going around, we decided to cancel the meeting. We will meet again on Jan 16th. Hope to see you

Greeneville Kentucky Planning Meeting Postponed Due To Lack Of Quorum

The meeting of the Greeneville Planning Commission for this morning Jan.13, 2026 was postponed due to lack of a quorum.

Only four of the nine member board were able to attend due to other meetings or sickness.

Passengers on Balmoral cruise ship confirm outbreak of gastroenteritis

The cruise ship scheduled to visit for Up-Helly-Aa is reported to have suffered an outbreak of gastroenteritis affecting as many as 200 people on board.Meanwhile, rumours had been circulating in Shetland that there had also been an outbreak of norovirus on board the ship, which can carry up to 1,230 passengers.

(In May last year, operators of the cruise ship Costa Favolosa sparked fury by allowing thousands of passengers to come ashore in Shetland despite there having been an outbreak of a sickness bug on board.)
