I assume this is an ongoing food recall that is continuing and also under continual investigation and these products considered an ongoing threat (for high-risk consumers) even now in Feb 21 2026...

Long-Running Listeriosis Outbreaks Highlight Persistent Contamination Risk in Packaged Salads

FEBRUARY 21, 2026

“Both outbreaks highlight the ongoing potential for L. monocytogenes infections as a result of consuming contaminated packaged salads, especially for high-risk consumers,” a CDC spokesperson who did not want to be identified told Infectious Disease Special Edition"

Two genetically unrelated multistate outbreaks of Listeria monocytogenes infections linked to packaged salads from two different producers resulted in at least 30 illnesses, 27 hospitalizations, and four deaths over an eight-year period, according to a report published in Emerging Infectious Diseases

COMMENT: pretty scary shady stuff with a CDC investigator/spokesperson who doesn't want to be named probably for fear of retaliation and the introduction of such terms as
"high-risk consumers" ... I certainly don't want to be a 'high risk consumer'! You know something is going on when they bring "spokespeople" out to do the talking!

Cheese Recalled due to Listeria
By Bill Marler on February 21, 2026

Made Fresh Salads, Inc. of Bay Shore, NY is recalling assorted flavors of cream cheese because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

The cream cheese was distributed in Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and New York City area by direct delivery to retail stores and distributors. Products are distributed in 5 lb. white plastic tubs with a Made Fresh Salads label. The flavors being recalled are as follows with expiration dates through February 27, 2026, marked in the bottom left corner of the label.

The recall was the result of a routine sampling program by the company which revealed that a part of the mixer used to manufacture finished products was contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The company has ceased production using the mixer in question and removed it from service.

FDA, CDC investigate salmonella outbreak tied to recalled supplements that has sickened 65 in 28 states
By Yvette Orozco, Staff WriterJan 30, 2026

Federal health officials are investigating an ongoing multistate outbreak of two strains of salmonella connected to two recalled supplementary powders and a company in Houston, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

The FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have reported that as of Thursday, 65 people in 28 states, including Texas, became sick and 14 have been hospitalized with one of two strains: salmonella typhimurium and salmonella newport.

The recalled supplements are Why Not Natural Pure Organic Moringa Green Superfood capsules and Live it Up-brand Super Greens powder.

The contamination has been tied to the moringa leaf powder contained in these products, with a common link to manufacturers Live it Up-brand Super Greens and Why Not Natural Pure Organic Moringa Green Superfood capsules, which is tied to a Houston-based company.

Arkansan among nearly 100 infected in nationwide salmonella outbreak linked to ‘superfood’ supplements

Posted: Mar 18, 2026

ARKANSAS (KNWA/KFTA) — Nearly 100 people, including one Arkansan, have been infected with salmonella as part of a nationwide outbreak linked to a pair of “superfood” supplements, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced on Tuesday.

The CDC has identified 97 people in 32 states who have contracted salmonella as part of the outbreak, up from 65 cases in 28 states in the previous update released on Jan. 29.

The agency says that the outbreak is linked to moringa leaf powder in dietary supplements. No deaths have been reported; however, there have been 26 hospitalizations connected to the outbreak.

Nearly 90,000 bottles of children's liquid pain medication were recalled.

"The Food and Drug Administration posted an online notice about the recall of Taro Pharmaceuticals’ Children’s Ibuprofen Oral Suspension. The company’s website states that the product comes in a berry-flavored solution and is recommended for children ages 2 to 11.

The FDA notice states that the recall was launched earlier this month after customers reported “a gel-like mass and black particles in the product.” Agency regulators categorized the action as one in which the risk of serious injury or health consequences to consumers is “remote.”"

COMMENT:
Years ago,  my loved one got Hepatitis A along with 32 other people from her dentist and was sick for almost a year and said she could'n keep anything down but  ice cream, lemonade, or chicken broth and lost a ton of weight and then she was weak for a year after that. They didn't know it was from a dentist until it was confirmed like a year later in the newspaper a long time afterwards. That was before the days of cellphones and internet. She could barely walk.. had to drop out of school for awhile went to hospital was the only way they could figure out what was wrong with her. The "a" in Hepatitis A stands for 'a'wful.
