"Two cases of tuberculosis and 18 cases of COVID-19 were recently identified at a massive immigration detention center in El Paso, according to city officials and a Democratic congresswoman.

In a post on X, Escobar said, “Many of the chronic issues that I have reported out to the public and to members of my committee persist.”

COMMENT/INQUIRY: I just though I'd point out Its interesting how this covid case is in the spotlight now... It seems like typically they haven't done much contact tracing or sequencing for covid like the measles? I haven't been able to fill this tracking thread like the measles tracking thread... not exactly sure why?
