Sting has canceled an appearance in an award show and several shows due to an illness and doctors orders. I am not seeing what the illness is, but it is said that all canceled shows will be postponed to a later date in time.

Masked Man thinks..its weird Sting has an illness he doesn't disclose yet he did go to the doctor and its doctor's orders he cancels some performances then Sting goes on to brag about his health regiment which obviously didn't work..lol...

"Sting's rescheduled events come after the rocker spoke about how he maintains his health at 73.

"I swim every morning when I can. I studied yoga for 35 years, so everything is related to that. I stretch, I work out, I walk. I'm physically very fit, and that keeps me mentally fit," he said to the Los Angeles Times.

He also attributed his health to keeping his drinking in check as well as his lack of smoking.

"I like a glass or two of wine at the end of the show, or a glass of mezcal. I'd never say I'm giving up drinking. I've never smoked anything legal in my life, which I'm happy to say. I never smoked tobacco. I smoked marijuana, but it's not so interesting to me anymore," Sting revealed.

Masked Man thinks okay if Sting is sick then imagine the hordes of fans in stadium he plays for must be just as sick or prone to illness..  I wear a mask and I just stay at home..here's some Chicago electric blues for ya Sting.. hope your "mysterious illness" resides and maybe you should stop bragging about health regiment ..lol.. enjoy my free performance Chicago Blues from the safety of my own home... I don't drink at all.. I don't draw crowds and evidently I am less sick than Sting with whatever he has which he is not willing to disclose...

P.S. if the superstars are sick and they aren't telling us what it is ..is it contagious? and also if the stars are getting sick then imagine all the fans all packed like sardines at the coliseums. All this means society has a major problem  admitting it has a healthcare crises. Again if rich superstars are sick then the average people they are playing to are probably also suffering and in a health crisis.

For every superstar that is sick how many regular people out in the audience are also sick? We have to ask ourselves these questions and make provisions and not just act like tough old birds or macho men like these mystery illnesses are no big deal. Its not just about one person. Never underestimate the repercussions and ramifications these illnesses and diseases impact on one another!

Today they 'pull the plug' on my uncle who had walking pneumonia and took a turn for the worst. I am not afraid to say a masked way of life surely would have prolonged his life and I believe that is the truth. If you don't catch an airborne disease because of a mask then your chances at a longer healthier life are greater. If you don't catch a disease or virus and you are older or younger for that matter you have a better chance at living longer. We must watch out for one another if we want to defend ourselves from microscopic entities at hand in modern society right now and I am glad to be here to share with you my ideas. ..this one is different  because the press included what fans thought!

"Fans were understandably sad to hear that the concerts had to be postponed. They shared messages on his Facebook account, wishing for the singer to feel better soon.

One fan wrote, “Prayers for Scotty to feel much better soon. His health is more important than shows. Scotty do what the doctors recommend! Listen and rest those vocal cords until you are well. Don’t try to please the fans with your health at stake.”

Another fan commented, “Feel better Scotty McCreery .., and to all that have tickets I can tell you he will be worth the wait.”

... its kind of interesting and different way of reporting on a  country singer with an unknown or unstated illness

...oddly enough none of his fans even ask what the illness is! lol that's great isn it!? One of the fans is actually praying to God that Scotty gets better!  I wonder if it would help if God knew what the diagnosis was and if that was also included in the prayer session? Should we pray for the doctor as well or just Scotty? God would be like "sure I'll help Scotty get better.. What doth ail him!? I needeth to know, lowly mortal music fan, because there's a lot of other people sick and praying right now... give me the details and I will answer your prayer! Satan just sent the biggest outbreak in influenza  since the 1990's.. sure ask and you shall receive..I'll help Scotty. All I need is some transparency and honesty as to what the illnesses is.. just tell me what his diagnosis is, what hospital he's staying at and I'll send yet another miracle down there and your prayer will be answered like all the others I have helped through the ages! "

...its just bizarre we pray for a guy that either doesnt know what he's got wrong with him or wan't say for insurance reasons!? I just don't get it..is it contagious .. are we ashamed of what their illness is? Are we hiding the illness so it won't hurt others..it as mysterious as the ocean. Or do we just not know what is wrong? I don't know it just weird. find out what is wrong with Scotty and make sure others aren't infected... I guess we can pray but we need to find out what is wrong first and try to take care of him before asking God's help..lol

..whatever you do for heaven's sakes we are reaching record influenza highs so on Sunday don't pray in a church of full of maskless elderly people right now please because you'll make influenza escalate under those conditions. If you want to help people discourage people you love from congregating so closely together that they make one another sick! (there's all sorts of school closures and flu and influenza challenges right now) If I were Scotty's press agent I would try educate others to protect themselves because Scotty's isn't the only case of mysterious illness right now by far. Its hard to believe this isn't declared a statewide emergency from all the school closers and hospital statements in the recent news. This should be a reality check... Its in the numbers... an illness is not often just about one person...Let's get real and take precautions and save some lives.. lets take these illnesses more seriously and get something out of it when people do get ill... let's learn from our mistakes so we can reduce numbers of illnesses. First things first; lets find out what the illness is first, only then we can proceed with the treatment and the prevention of its spread! we do the vital work first and then pray later if we choose to.

Sadly according to google findings:
"Is it true that if you pray for sick people they do better even if they don't know? Sadly, no. There have been tests done, of varying scientific rigour, and there seems to be no evidence that praying does anything for anyone except giving peace of mind to the person performing the prayer".

Masked Man disagrees and thinks writing down certain prayers might help and thinks it depends on what you pray for  and would like pray ...

Here is what Justin Timberlake had posted on this.

"“You guys. I’m heartbroken. I have to cancel the show tonight. I went into soundcheck battling the flu and now it’s gotten the best of me. It kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen. I want to reassure you. You’ll be getting refunds for your tickets. I love you all.”"

Tis a shame for Justin and his poor fans ..maybe Justin can make up for the concert by giving an online performance. I wouldn't know what its like to let down my fans because I never get sick anymore because of my mask and my pre-cautions.. I also don't go to big gatherings full of Justin Timberlake fans who might also be sick ..I'd just stay at home if I were a stinking rich kid like Justin Timberlake.. he's gotta be crazy to simply risk long covid much less the flu.. surely he's got some dough and could just stay safe at home doing what he loves without having to participate in all the social mumbo jumbo and just withdraw from society.. I mean come on get a life.. play it safe.. why risk covid if you got some money and if you can simply avoid it all  ..I encourage all wanna be musicians to try being creative and sharing more online like write songs about being a cat and post them online like me!
