Masked Man personal comment and preferences: Golfing and golfers not my cup of tea...lol..Ive always sort of hated golf and now all the more reason to hate golfers like the flu. It's just not a sport ..its definitely not athletic and I just can't stand golfers that's all there is to it! lol. I played classical guitar at a lot of restaurants back in the day and I guess the big country club golf resorts just were the worst people to play guitar for. Golfers are just loud and obnoxious and snobby and rich at the same time and they just don't appreciate Bach or Andre Segovia on the classical guitar. They are usually are loud obnoxious and drunk at dinner parties that's all I know. They are just the worst kind of rich people Ive ever met very egotistical. lol

I can see these golf guys could care less if they spread the flu or not with their faces even though for many of us the pandemic and the current numbers and toll on society with it healthcare crises is very real. I wouldn't go near one of these guys in person.. They are self centered. Personally I think golf resorts are such a waste of land ... nowadays golf resorts should be converted into community gardens for  masked farmers or the golf courses should be turned into animal sanctuaries to save species from bird flu.. but instead acres of land gets mowed everyday environmentally  destructive machines for rich guys that just sit around and talk about balls they sank..They are just  bores and they are shallow.. its just such a trivial thing to make a ball go into a hole...lol I hate golfers...lol

I can see quite well that these particular golfers are sick with the flu and it seems pathetic that they have no qualms and no desire to protect one another just so they put around a golf ball. I dunno I'm just not impressed with the lack of sensitivity or intelligence here with their cold callous way of playing through the flu, after all my uncle just died from walking pneumonia. Not that these golfers care. Speaking for myself, When somebody close to me dies from a contagious illness and I see a bunch of rich guys not covering their faces while they are sick, if your like me ya tend to lose all respect for the sick maskless guys running around doing stuff even though they are sick. Its just true I just lost my uncle to an airborne diseases and so naturally I just despise these sick golfers with their maskless faces... like to me they are just stupid monsters that don't care if someone gets sick and dies. That's just the way it might feel to some of us masked people who lose someone special to a contagious disease. I just see a bunch of selfish jerks playing golf. But don't let my views discourage anybody's love for golf.. I am sure golf brings a lot of joy to many people in this world for it is a popular thing. No big deal, its probably equally my uncle's fault for not taking enough precautions himself such as masking which is why isn't with us today. He probably hung around with some maskless golfing jerks who were sick.

Let's talk about a more noble game..I call the game of life or the game of living and surviving... The game of dodging ills and true evils such as spreading those ills a thousand fold to humanity...

When a person is sick they often say that person is fighting the flu or fighting the illness but that's actually not fighting the disease or virus once you've caught it. Catching it is succumbing to it. You fight a virus by preventing its contact or exposure with it through means such as a mask.. that's how to fight a flu.. Its a little like martial arts in that one must learn to prevent or block the strikes from contact...in other words
use self defense and prevent and block the virus from having direct contact with your lungs or pink inwards or membranes with a mask and you can also disinfect the leftover germs externally with various disinfectants such as antibacterial soap. That's how to really fight a virus and win. Yet another game or friendly challenge is to try to protect others from a virus(who will invariably also spread it to multiple others)  if you do succumb to a contagious illness like these golfers. Wear a mask to truly win the fight!

Choose your battles wisely, I choose to mask,
The Masked Man

P.S. Again I hope my dissatisfaction with golf doesn't tarnish anybody's love for this relaxing pastime.. I'm just sharing how I feel personally. I see whooping cough in certain regions making a come back from the times when my grandmother had it as a child like hundred years ago..I see several school in Kansas of all places closings due to  tuberculosis (there are more viruses going around than when I went to school).. my uncle died from walking pnemonia yesterday,  I'm adding up in my head how many people in every state dies of covid the last two weeks then I see bunch of guys with the flu are smiling for a camera swinging a club in polo shirts competing for a whole lot of money while sick and you tell me who are good guys and who the bad guys in this picture? Anyway I wear mask everyday because of guys like this..hotshots that go out in public even though they have the flu.. I just think its disrespectful to not at least cover one's face or stay out of the public if a person knows they are actually sick with something that could hurt another human being.  That's just me. I just think its wrong to hurt another person either through actions or inaction that is failure to protect others when one is sick.

We might be at an all time high inn of 48 states right now namely Kansas for tuberculosis not to mention again whooping cough on the rise amongst children!? gimme a break if this isn't a healthcare crises then we are blind to the data... We have yet to know the real impact of covid and its long term repercussions .. I'm just a fellow in a mask that reads the data of wastewater and I'm watching a whole lot of people walking straight into bird flu and there are all these  scores of species of animals that are facing bird flu to entertain people at zoos and such... we are talking scores of farmers working with poultry and bird flu keeps popping up in the darnest places everywhere in the world ...like I said I'm just a kid who survived asthma and allergies and now I'm all grown up Masking for my life because I see the writing on the wall its as plain as day if the world is a pair of britches then we people are too big for our britches ...
...its simple everybody keeps getting sick and its not just a little cold anymore ...I want to survive a pestilence and array of viruses that have obviously overtaken us and its like some sort of sick fairytale watching these golfers and guys into sports chasing after the gold seeking fame and fortune over over their health and everybody's health to be honest. They don't care who gets sick ..they just wanna win... they are macho and trying to blow it off like its normal to ignore "illness". Most of them won't even tell us what they got..lol...They are like ghosts of the past ...how are they going to win when the kids in school are sick and we keep getting record high stats of viruses and Tuberculosis is the highest in the US ever in history!?

Get with the program people and defend your health These superstars are in fantasy land no different than a bunch of soldiers standing in the trenches smiling in war for the pictures during the Spanish flu. Its just as Plain as day you either chose to believe in a maskless guy sick with the flu swinging at a ball for fame and fortune or you believe in some old guy in a mask playing it safe from his home trying to survive writing you his innermost thoughts in earnest online  with nothing to gain or lose by telling the you what he sees simply for the sake of telling it like it is.

These sports competitors are so full of it.. taking themselves to the limit competing while sick in the name of what? lol some sort of human models of excellence!? Its silly. If you don't feel up to snuff or are sick then go with it..sit this one don't be a ball hog. Learn how to be a human.. its okay to feel bad when you are sick. The world will keep spinning. Give it break when you are sick.. don't act like a macho or tough guy sportspeople.. your not that great.

We have a future ..its just not the past
I’d rather be mandated to wear a mask than mandated by a disease to suffer

Think about it
Who really loves you and isn't just trying for a gold medal?
Be safe people,
The Masked Man

I bet ya "huddling" contributes to a lot of mystery illnesses!

Its all that huddling.. that will get you every time.. I remember quite well four or five of us guys on my paper route playing football tackling one another all sweaty bending over practically forehead to forehead in a huddle... never huddle without a mask when there are mystery illnesses going around!  ;D

Sounds like their doctors need to get a game plan down and do a little huddle themselves and figure out what these "illnesses" are..lol..mystery illnesses seem more common amongst sportstars than regular people.. most normal people go to a real doctor and know what their illnesses actually are.. at least I hope so. Just imagine if just one gets covid, tuberculosis or even possibly bird flu and just keeps playing sharing the same facilities as his team members...shaking hands and sharing germs.. they are definitely high at risk tighter knit than a bunch of weekly church people ... these sports teams are good specimens to study that's for sure. If only we knew if they had influenza or whooping cough or covid we could predict what is happening in out communities or at least see patterns of illnesses and map them out for our benefit.

Also, some players have done meet and greets with fans signing autographs on things.

... so true you speak so truly I keep forgetting if the players are sick imagine the people all huddled together in the stands and in lines buying hot dogs and popcorn all flocked together like birds! Flocks and herds eventually using the same bathroom! Stars love to hold children in their arms or in the air for some reason for the camera. When I was a child my dad was news reporter and anyway backstage Donnie and Marie Osmond held me up in their arms because I was cute and had red hair. Its probably the same old thing with today's superstars whether they have a 'cold' or not. The stars love those glamour shots always smiling for the camera no matter how they really feel. They live for those glamour shots or publicity shots! God only knows how many times people have actually gotten sick because of cameras and cellphones used for that Kodak moment. That's probably why the Amish are subconsciously against cameras and mirrors. Huddling for the camera is wrong...;) Funny but true To beat these illnesses and diseases I think, we must not behave as if in a flock or herd. We must think and behave outside the box so to speak. We must dare to be different and do things differently if we are to expect different outcomes such as if we are to break the cycle of a certain causes and effects.

One of my genuine concerns is how they belittle "the flu" I am no expert but I studied some history and take the so called "Spanish  flu" which really was a "world flu" and is only termed Spanish flu because Spain was the only country to acknowledge the horror was actually happening.. you see if I am not mistaken the pandemic actually started innocently enough in the eyes of the soldiers who all had a flu . The flu didn't kill them and so they belittled the flu but what was to follow was perhaps either more of the flu that mutated or possibly swine flu took over or something did(I am fuzzy on this but also we might not actually know as historians on the matter anyway because we didn't have technology to determine how viruses or which ones evolved).. anyway my point is I remember reading somewhere that a whole bunch of soldiers had the flu in the very beginning and thought nothing of it since it didn't kill them but then more illnesses be they mutated or of another origin entered the picture directly after their flu to wipe out multitudes..  "The war had cost the lives of more than 9 million combatants plus millions of civilians. Meanwhile, an even more deadly threat emerged: the influenza pandemic, which would take another 50 million lives worldwide". Even though I am no expert that's what happened in history and I can't help but cringe when I hear sports stars behaving like soldiers when it comes to the flu for these reasons. Furthermore the sports stars aren't even cooperating or feel at liberty or understand what their mystery illnesses actually are.

That is what alarms me of course is that there is an 'evolving ' element with viruses and that pandemics go through phases that many others such as sports stars don't want to acknowledge could be happening . These factors are often ignored because people don't see the big picture and are conveniently in denial of the true directions viruses take as they have self interests that blind them from what is actually occurring over a lengthy extended time period.

Anyway here's an interesting link with Historical Documentaries that Data Report Info readers might find illuminating during halftime here..its good food for thought

I am no Atlas and cannot carry the world upon my shoulders nor am I the one to intervene so let the sports continue! Halftime over

Update on the Eagles illness. It sounds as if more players or members of the team are sick as an illness is making it’s rounds through the team.

"Per John Clark of NBC Sports, Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio updated the press on Jalen Carter's condition in practice on Thursday saying that the defensive lineman was limited and that other members of the team were also dealing with an illness making the rounds."
