SUMMARY - In the nation of Scotland, HPAI (Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza) has been reported on a farm called "Over Ascreavie House" in the council area of Angus. A 1.8 mile containment zone and 6.2 mile surveillance zone has been declared in the area. This is the first incident of reported HPAI in Scotland since the summer of 2023.

Ah man crows!? I really have have a fondness for crows. I just like their voice. They are similar to vultures in that they to scavenge a lot. Is the avian flu mutating so much that no species is impervious to this diseases not even the tough old crow!? This bird flu truly hurts us all for each animal in this world plays a vital role on our lives. We are in that chain and part of the animal kingdom ourselves. When other animals are sick or hurt is a great loss and challenge for everyone in that chain.

From a layperson's view so far I am thinking the possum is the most impervious to diseases .. I would think that vultures and animals like crows that that typically have the ability to eat a lot of meat off of dead animals would be more hardy and not pick up diseases but evidently even birds like crows are getting bird flu. Then again animals like crows and vultures are likely to carry diseases because they pick the bone off of carcasses and those carcasses may have been victims of bird flu so it makes sense animals that consume dead animals might get sick.

It's hard to objective about all these animals getting sick. I just wrote a children's wake up in the morning song with my electric guitar featuring crow sounds in it

SUMMARY - Fences have been put up to prevent the spread of HPAI (Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza) at the Swan Sanctuary in Worcester, UK. There have been twelve dead swans detected with six known to have died from HPAI. Visitors are advised not to touch or move any dead birds and to keep dogs on leashes.
